About the Journal

Quadrivium is the digital musicology journal published by the Valencian Musicology Association (AVAMUS) since 2010. Published annually and peer-reviewed, it serves as a leading platform for the dissemination of musicological research and knowledge. It publishes original works covering all areas of the discipline, from historical musicology to ethnomusicology, the sociology of music, musical analysis, organology and iconography. The journal promotes scholarly debate and the transfer of knowledge, with a particular focus on Valencian musical heritage within an open and international perspective.
